Title: Removing a V6 starter

Trying to help out Bigron  . . . with a V6 starter.  Looks a real pig to get off . . . . any short cuts or tips

& does the engine mounting, as per Haynes   HAVE to come off ?  :-\ :-\  TIA   Al ::)

As omega starters are usually fairly bullet proof  . . .

It  seems this may be  a subject that not many oofers have attempted I thinks  ::)

Looks a tad tricky to me , the DIY home mechanic  . . . :-\

I'd just like to add when I changed a starter on a 3.2 I could not see the top bolt head, so had to find it by feel - it has a torx male head. Installing new starter to helped to align starter upper bolt hole with thread in block with a long Allen key.
