Title: Coolant warning
Post by: Ash3383 on 06 June 2015, 11:18:36
My 2.5 CDX X-plate omega is putting up a coolant level check sign on the display but the coolant in the expansion tank is spot on. Failed sensor in expansion tank?

Sorry forgot to say....try putting finger in tank and wiggle the sensor just in case it is stuck  :y

I believe the general opinion is that it is more viable...price wise to replace tank and switch together but no doubt others will pop on and give their advice as such a friendly lot on here  :y

New tank needed, finger wiggling float may reset it. New tank has benefit of looking a lot better, really make a difference to the engine bay
