I'd advise anyone who has a Lloyds /TSB bank account with credit cards attached to it to claim. I did not ask for PPI yet it was on both my credit cards, thieving baskets  >:( >:( >:( >:(

That's good news Jason  :y

I signed various forms with a company that was pestering me to claim PPI....the claim was against LLoyds as well ... for bank loan/credit card...that was about 2 months ago....I haven't heard anything yet....but I was vague on the forms and just gave my name/address and and pointed them to LLoyds...with no account number info.....so I suspect it will take longer ... but still if they do manage to get anything back, it'll be worth their commission.....as I've done buggar all except sign a few forms  :y

Going third party for PPI claims is simply throwing money away ::)

All those telly ads are paid for with your cash. Always claim direct as it cuts out the middlemen :y

Well done Jason, best claim I had was for poor advice re a pension transfer, the FSCS awarded me £48,000 back in 2009, when they first contacted me I thought it was some kind of con & threw the letter in the bin !!A month or so later they contacted me again  & I completed the paperwork , it took about 8 months to receive payment but was a pleasant surprise.

I didn't realise until reading this tread it also applies to mortgage protection, I now need to find the paperwork for useless payment protection I was sold for this.

Not stressed out (yet  ::) ) Its just it was hard enough to get holidays before, now they've shaved another 11 off our staff its darn near impossible to book any time off. Up to March this year I have 9 re-allocated rest days which I cannot have off. Then I get a snotty e-mail saying if you haven't booked them by the end of March you'll lose them.  >:( >:( >:(
