Don't tell Tuby but his Crapple 5 has a Sony sensored camera. Sony supply over 50% of digital camera sensors, so Tuby needs to go back to his Kodak Brownie if he wants to avoid Sony. :P :P ;D ;D

I agree with Tuby when it comes to TV's and Laptops and would never own any made by Sony as there are much cheaper, better and more reliable available.

Just need to wait until they get into some non-Sony cameras because the Sony ones... well, "earwarmers" is all I've got to say. ::)

IMO only two makes of DSLR: Cannon and Nikon all other makes are just noise in terms of sales and range, especially when it comes to lenses, which is where the real ££££ are invested if you are serious about your photography. With the rate of advances in DSLR cameras they have to be considered consumer items that quickly depreciate, whereas good lenses will span several generations of cameras and will always have some value.

I am a life-long user/owner of Minolta cameras; at least, I was until Konica took them over, leading to the final indignity when Sony then bought Konica out.
I do concede though, that Konica's Minolta DiMage A2 is a bit awesome!

Ron.
