Make sure you put it in a duck house at night or a cat or fox will have it for lunch.

How do you tell if it is a wild duck??....absence of a ring does not mean it is wild as if it is a wild duck where's mum??...more like someone threw it out as if it was wild it would not go near a human

Once it gets its feathers, you will know if its wild or domestic. Domestic ducks also tend to be bigger than wild ones.
