Title: Aircon Cleaning Can
Post by: tunnie on 03 July 2015, 18:00:19
When 3.2 was done last year at Vx, they gave me a can to clean the system.  I think you set it off in the passenger footwell, so its taken up the air intakes. Have it set to low so full aircon max fan speed and recirculate?

How long should I leave it on after the can has run out. 10 mins?

Thanks

It should say on can, but usually 10 mins with temp set LO, fans on full chat, recirc on.

If it was to overcome the aircon smell, which TBH the Omega tends not to suffer from, you will find it will come back in a few weeks, as it doesn't resolve the root cause.

No smell issue, more to just clean the system.

Just have to see how long it keeps pressure  :-\

Not sure there is any benefit to be had then. But as it was "free"...
