Title: An Invitation from Honda
Post by: Dusty on 09 July 2008, 19:27:42
Had an invitation from Honda the other day, inviting me to spend the day at Stapleford Park Country House Hotel. Leicestershire.

Stapleford Park offers lavish spar, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding and much more.

The main reason they invite you though is to test drive any 3 cars from the Honda range.

You'll not necessarily guaranteed to get the cars you want, but I've chosen the :

Legend, which I think should feel like a laterday 3.2 Elite.
An S2000 (which according to Mr Dusty) has 120BHP per litre and revs to 9000rpm
Thirdly the Civic Type R ,which everyone on OOF will be familiar with.
All we have to be is over 25 for insurance purposes. If you get there early you'll even be give a complimentary breakfast, and a round of golf should you want to. (Golf is not my thing).

The thinking behind this is Honda will hope you will buy a nice new Honda.

Any chance Vauxhall does one of the days as well. Might see you there if you've got the same invite. :P

Sounds like a great day out Dusty. While you are there ask them if you could have a 12 month test drive of the Honda legend, just to see if it is any good you understand.

Also probably best to let Mr Dusty take the wheel of the faster Hondas just to be on the safe side ;D ;D ;D

S2000 should be perfect for doing doughnuts on the golf course after the resident's bar closes. [smiley=evil.gif]

Have Fun

Mate of mine had an NSX. Has been regretting the day he sold it ever since. Can't find anything that comes close, apparently.  :'(

The NSX was the car that made Ferrari and Lambo realise that the japanese could build great supercars. :y
