Title: Electric fans on all the time

I have a 2001 omega elite y22dth and whenever I switch the thing on the fans run continuously even when I switch the thing off for about 5 mins. I assume it is the fan switch or is it something else. Where is the fan switch?

Tap the orange relay in the triangular relay box under the bonnet and see if it stops. A few of us have experienced this, a secondhand relay fixes the problem unless you want to buy a new one. NB. it is common for the fans to run on for a short while when temperatures reach a certain point.

Fan switches are on back right hand side of the rad when facing the car, I did have one go on mine with the same symptoms as on all the time is a kind of safety default
