Hi All. I have just picked up a nice Omega 2002 LPG version. My problem is none of the interior lights work. That includes above mirror, sun visor, kerb lights etc. A friend, who knows a little of the history of the car seems to remember that they stopped working when a new radio was fitted and ashtray removed. Please do not ask me why this is as I am as flummuxed as you guys. I have the ashtray to hand but it does not want to open and two wires have been cut (Brown & black).
Bottom line is that is it possible the radio or ashtray could cause interior lights not to work. I have checked the fuses and bulbs and are OK.
Thanks guys.

Its strange as I have the opposite problem, my reading lights above the interior mirror won't turn on (bulbs are working & fuse is ok) but the interior comfort light in front of the reding lights are on permanently and won't turn off when the doors are shut thus draining the battery???

I would of thought that they would be on at least 3 different circuits

Sounds like a dodgy PCB in the light unit itself
