As title . . . have picked up a cheap '02 plate Silver 3.2 Elite . . but . . . to my surprise :o :o :o :o :o :o
It has a sony playstation system fitted in it :o :o :o :o
2 x playstation II units fitted neatly when you drop the rear centre arm rest & the screens are mounted neatly in the rear of the front headrests
Does anybody know if this has been an Oof car at one time , as there cannot be many that have this fitted in them ?
Seller did not know of Oof .
The car looks pretty good, there are a couple of minor scrapes on the front bumpe corners & a little bit of rust on one rear door bottom corner . But rear arches are good & no other rust showing anywhere . MOT until end of April 2016
It has a NCDC2013 with Colour screen fitted & all the toys work including rear blind .
But back to main question . . . was this possibly an Oof car in it's earlier life ? :y

Will get some better pics up after a valet . . . got a set of late elite/MV6 alloys for it . . not keen on those elite ones :(

Where did you find that?
Fairly local . . . they are out there . . . you just gotta look a bit deeper & not be afraid of giving insulting offers ::) ::)
And thanks to the alarming man for posting pics :y :y :y

Without doubt these have been aftermarket fitted . . . but a pretty neat job on the screen fitting I must say
Not quite as neat on the playstation II consoles fitting, but not too bad . Also has a 12v -240v inverter fitted which I
think probably powers the "wireless" headphone system . Am going to try & see if it all works today ::) ::)
Could be a challange for me all this "electrickery" :-[ :-[ :-[

Screens look well fitted, although I would be tempted to have a close look because someone on ABS bought a car with a similar setup, when they took a screen out to replace it they found the frame was mounted with inch long screws that obviously would come straight through the headrest if you were in an accident. :o

Ouch !

It just goes to show, that as Al says, they are out there. Why people don't look on the net to find places like OOF, baffles me. OK, it worked in Al's favour. But I suspect that's why many get scrapped because owners get duff info from local garages.
I have spoken to many Omega owners around Wycombe and Dorset, and only found one who knew of us, but was not currently a member.
Great find Al, and I look forward to seeing it a meet somewhere, when its all tarted up :y

Go on then, I'll ask.

Can't tell you that Doctor Nosey Opti I may want to sell it on, on here once "Blackie's " oil seal is fixed ;) ;)
As a clue, the price of a good NCDC2013 & paired CID was a huge chunk of what I paid for it ;) ;) ;)

What ! . . . . would I really pay that much for common old Silver 3.2 Elite ;D ;D ;D ;D. . . no chance
Bit on the high side that Broomie :o :o . . . won't be forthcoming with actual the figure though . . . :-X :-X :-X :-X
Apart from it was a very decent purchase IMO . . .
And a few on here know I never pay much for my omegas ;) ;)
-
But do they know where you keep finding them so cheap ? ;D
I currently have hankering for a nice, cheap 3.2 , but then again I also have a hankering for a Jag XJ.
