It's doable with one if you've had practice. Otherwise, definitely a two man job.

Got plenty of wooden blocks and axle stands , maybe even support it with the jack . Knowing my luck it will fall off the supports  ;D

Open window, close rear door, open front door, remove hinge pins, open rear door and lift away...

Refitting is reverse of removal...

Bish bash bosh :y

I find a 25 litre drum supports the door just about the right height. Or possibly a 20 lt trade club oil drum. :y

Yep window is up  :)
Im replacing it as the old door has what looks like someone in another car has opened the door onto it causing multiple ripple effect  ::)

Does the b post trim have to come off for access to the plug then  :-\

It's very easy to scratch paint with the hinges while lining the door up btw. Steady as she goes. :y

Im sure it will go on and line up spiffingly , no swear box needed  :-\ Got to take all the trim off the old door first as new one has none .

I had two doors from nigel a front and rear owing to them being in better condition than mine and owing to them being so cheap .

With the rear doors you just need to swap the door cards.. But with the front you need to do lock/solenoid/Latch etc;
I find it best to remove/refit cards with window fully down.

You will be back here tomo asking about the hidden screws... ;D ;D ;D if so i will put a pic up...Got a rear door in garage with card off  :y
