Title: Driving Stress
Post by: fcc-pt on 18 July 2015, 15:37:47
Hi guys!

I'm being pursued by omega ghost  :o
I just can't get my omega driving nice! That's it!

It makes some vibration when it starts to run... I can feel my all body being shaken, and it fades away with speed increase.
The Steering Wheel starts to vibrate while turning at lower speeds 60km/hr, it vibrates just sometimes in flat road and it suddenly stops (over 80Km/hr).
When driving in bad road, it is possible to feel strokes on the steering wheel (bouncing left and right) with great amount of play!
Tires pressure it's ok, power steering and steering box revied with no problems! Except for the steering wheel I can ear a little metallic noise just some times. Perhaps the bearing passed away...
Shocks B4 from bilstein, Struts SKF!
Some triagle bushes changed along with anti-roll bar rubbers.
Alignment ok! Other parts reviewed with no defects.

Where should I start?

It might be important to say that...
The Wheels are calibrated.
I have nerver changed the springs!
I belive that this suspension is very hard, every time I hit a hole It seems the car it gets dismantled.

Just checking. When you say wheels calibrated, does that mean balanced on a machine?

Yes.

I wonder if my omega has some kind of electronic suspension system because the rear suspension is pneumatic!
And the headlights are adjusted automatically.
It might be a silly question, but I've replaced the front shocks by a normal Bilstein B4... I don't belive that the all behavior is due to the front shock and springs but  it might have some weight right?
