Title: Low Milage FL 3.0 Elite Saloon - eBay
Post by: Mr.OmegaMan on 27 July 2015, 05:32:43
Odd colour can't say i've seen many in this colour, Do recall seeing a 2.5 Elite in this colour maybe it was exclusive to the early facelifts?

Does appear to be tidy in and out, Wonder why there isn't a boot spoiler though  :-\

No criticism, but I do wonder why a car with such low mileage has had 4 previous owners :)

Especially if the first one was a Vaux dealer.

As I said, no criticism.......must have spent a long time stood still. Averages out at 2,200 miles per year. So if you increase the 2,200 for one year, it decreases the rest. Just observations, and probably a good explanation as to why. Just a question I would have to ask, though.
Does look a decent car. :y

I am with you on that, Mr. Terbert; also, they almost certainly were short journey miles and not motorway miles - not good for an engine. It doesn't say when, or if, the cambelt was last changed, either. All questions that need asking.....

Ron.

That looks like mine - Colour code Z385 Graphite II Mica/Pearl - The fastest, rarest and most valuable of all the Omega colours ;D

Though I'm not sure why it's got a black interior - should be light grey?

My white one is only one previous keeper and 270k...

Could be that car was a dealer demo, sold to a retired gent who kept it a while but barely used it... Next owner buys it but realises that child number four is imminent after six months so chops it in for a new fangled people carrier. Owner number four then snaps it up from a traders lot but soon discovers that intermittent coolant loss and misfire apparently translates to total headgasket failure causing irreparable psychological damage. Car receives a coat of polish and magically appears on ebay... ::)

Same colour as mine, although mine's not looking as nice as that one does although in fairness mines a fair few miles higher on the clock.
