I have a small ding in my bonnet, which hardly justifies spraying the whole panel, are these mobile panel fixers any good? If so how much should I expect to pay? It is a circular mark about 1" in diameter. :y

I heard they are pretty good , i'd think about £80 :-\

Woman opposite had a load of bits sprayed on her car (silver) and I have to say, as an ex spray trade person, it was very very good :y

I used 'Chips Away' some years ago on a Rover 800, in silver. Poor guy, he just could not match the paint, so had to paint the whole bumper, and the top half of a door and wing, looked fine when done 'large' but would not blend in when done 'small' guy was here all day, but iirc just paid a standard fee........... :y :y

I used a local independent place about 3 years back... Did all the dings on both mine and SWMBO car, plus some scratches on both. He was here pretty much all day (6 hours or so) and I paid around £300 :y

Thanks guys, I'll check with chips away for a price. :y

I got a quote from a local independant recently for a panel ding and respray (rear quarter scrape with a bollard :-[) and I was told £700.
I just hung up :-X

Neighbour picked up a rear quarter scratch on his new Auris estate... Chips away sorted it, arranged through local Toyota garage, for £85. Suspect £70 if booked direct and presumably less for cash :y

Check independent places too.... Chips Away can be very expensive. The same repairs to my car alone, CA quoted in excess of £300 ;)
It's worth asking in a couple of local dealerships. They might have someone they recommend
