.....for the first time in nearly ten years. :'(
The fella who took it couldn't believe what a lovely car he had bought for only £760. :'(
-
As ailments go, Omegalessness tends to be short lived... ;)
Did suggest that you stopped the auction before it was too late ::)
But what is done is done. Look on the brightside, it clears a space on the drive for another 3.2 estate :D

I paid a paltry £1300 some four and a half years ago so all things considered £760 is not too shabby. :y

Just a little too tight with your money. ;)......but then you are from the North. :D

He came with a friend in a Focus. They attached trade plates to the Omega.
I believe he works in the garage business/motor trade.

Yes they'll get their spotty yoof to wipe it over with a damp rag and put it up for £1740. ;D

Should have taken my 700 delivered. Bit less than Vamps but you would have had a good trip and holiday here.
Plus you might have been able to buy it back at a future date. 700 delivered! :y

If the land was for sale with planning permission it would be the ideal location for a 'Grand Designs' house. :y

Yes. :'(
Today I have driven the Signum back home to Lincolnshire. It handled the journey adequately well in the same way a fridge or washing machine does it's job adequately well.
What is missing is soul. The Omega sounds like a V6....the Signum doesn't.
-
I would have thought the Omega and Signum are both a bit too decadent for your avatar, M'lud, so best replaced with a Lada or Moskvich. Both are well known for their pussy pulling style, comfort, performance and reliability, or so a used car salesman, with several stuck on his forecourt, once told me. ??? ??? ???
Of course you could consider something German, Mercedes or BMW are much too flash, a Trabant or Warburg might fit the bill perfectly. :y :y :y
