Title: MH370 - Is it or isn't it?
Post by: Sir Tigger KC on 30 July 2015, 11:39:22
So a piece of aircraft wreckage has washed up on the island of Reunion east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean.   Good news if it is from MH370 as surely they can track the currents, which would give the investigators a clearer idea of where to search?  :y

Almost certainly is from MH370. As I understand it, the code stamped on it is 657BB, which tallies with a part on a B-777 right-wing flaperon.

They have been around for 20 years now, but only two in air losses have occurred, one being that which the Russians shot down and MH370

That narrows it down a bit as that one was shot down over Ukraine was by Putins mates so that wreckage didn,t drift far.
With luck the relatives of the missing can get some closure.

I would agree, almost definitely from the plane, hopefully this will be the first piece of the jigsaw as to what really happened, probably a few more years waiting yet though.

It disappeared 18 months ago, and the first piece washed up is a four foot aluminium box section... sorry, but I don't buy it. 400 RFD life jackets would have popped up first, yet noone has even seen one ;)

Wouldn't be the first time that summat which MIGHT possibly be x has been turned into B by the media ::)
