My dad's side of the family were from Sheffield in South Yorkshire. My great grandad Joseph Mountain was a self-made rich man and quite famous with his Victorian Pleasure Gardens in Totley.

Totley eh? along with Dore a posh bit of Sheffield.I was born about 15 miles from Sheffield and lived in the area for my first 40yrs.Of course way back then it was part of the West Riding,it was only later on[don't recall when] that it was re-named as South Yorkshire. As part of West Riding main government offices-for car tax among many other things was Wakefield.
