Title: Honda and Omega, not so different after all..............
Post by: Vamps on 04 August 2015, 22:46:22
Friggin EML light has come on, whilst climbing out of Ramsey heading South........ :-X :-X

Stopped, switched off and on again, light still on, no codes showing - some do, but not in limp mode. Whilst in Douglas, sitting in the car waiting for swmbo and miss vamps to get some bathing suits, I found myself playing with the 'sat nav' found a Honda Garage in 0.6 miles, fitters gone but calling in tomorrow for a code reading, and hopefully it getting sorted......... ::) ::)

Sorry, posted in wrong section..............

My mate's got an 02 Civic. He is a prat and has neglected it with regards to servicing. However, all credit to Honda its not had one problemin his 5 year ownership except therear brakes I did for him a few weeks back and the EML coming on for a vtec code (turned out to be lack of oil activiating the vtec).

weirdly though hes using a lot of oil but has no oil leaks that I could find and theres not a hint of blue smoke when its running. very bizarre

Nice to hear of good dealers. The later shape Honda Legends are nice looking saloons. Packed full of gadgets. Quite cheap too, temping to get on of those and LPG it
