 The pipe runs along the top of the offside chassis rail in the engine compartment That jubilee clip doesn`t look right either.
 maybe I can cut it back past the rotten bit  :-\

				Transmission to oil cooler pipes.Both mine have jubilee clips.Should be ok to cut bad bit out as long as there is enough spare will lose some transmission oil though.

				Silly suggestion?
 To avoid losing ATF, if there's enough slack in the hose, loosen the jubilee clip and push the hose as far onto the pipe as possible and re-tighten the jubilee clip? Then just ignore the bad end of the hose.....
