I thought I would try again in the correct section!
Does anyone have the pin out / colour code for the phone pre-wiring connector up behind the glove box?
Or failing that the correct cable for a Nokia CK7W
Many thanks

Best plan is to get an Autoleads 06-109B :y

Haynes manual is your friend. :)

I must be thick as I tried but could not find the socket in question on the wiring diagram - I will try again :y

I noticed Dave DND had one in stock for £15 - so ordered that while I try and battle with the Haynes Manual!

Be in the Later models section... Index precedes the diagrams :y

So now i have the 'autoleads' cable but it does not have a speaker jack, which I wasn't expecting.

I was expecting a small and big jack for mic and speaker.
Any comments?

Should have the 3.5mm plug for the speaker but the 2.5mm mic connector is no use because the mic in the courtesy lamp is usually the wrong version so everyone sticks with the mic supplied with the CK7W.
Oh and that cable is a Kram one (nothing wrong with their stuff usually) the only ones I've seen are the Autoleads 06-109B's which definitely have both plugs.

Thank you for the reply - invoice says 'Autoleads 06-109B' - but take your point thats not what is seems to be. I will have to drop DND an e-mail and see if I've just been send the wrong one, it certainly does not have the 3.5mm plug.

Autoleads one is out of stock, which is why an identical replacement has been sent. :y
Black plug goes straight into the Vx loom, and the molex connector should plug into your car kit main unit. Speaker plug goes into main unit and allows sound to play through vehicle as intended.
As others have said, use genuine Nokia Mic as the Vx one is awful :y

Update:
If there is only one jack plug, I may have inadvertantly sent you an 06-109 and not an 06-109B
Send me that one back and I will make up a lead here for you :y
Apologies :'(

Thanks Dave - certainly no 3.5mm jack on the lead I have, just the 2.5 for the mic (which as you say I wont use, I have the Nokia mic mounted).
My CK7W has a 4 pin Molex not the 6 pin on the cable. In the interests of speed (holiday in the car shortly) can I remove the 6 pin and solder to the 4 pin Nokia cable, Blue IGNS, Yellow CRM, Red Power and Black ground? Does that then mean the 2 white cores in the cable you sent are the speaker and again I can solder to the jack on the supplied Nokia speaker that I wont be using?
Hopefully that makes some sense!
Many thanks
