Title: Chevron oil?
Post by: aaronjb on 11 August 2015, 15:43:10
Anyone any experience of this?

I think it actually works out a bit cheaper than VX oil now, in 20L drums from Costco.

5W30 Fully Synthetic (ACEA A5/B5, API SL/CF) is £41.98 inc VAT
10W40 Semi Synthetic (ACEA A3/B4, A3/B3, API SN/CF, MB 229.3, Renault RN 0700, RN 0170, PSA B71-2300, VW 502 00, VW 505 00) is also £41.98 inc VAT

(And I nearly came out with a new tool chest, workbench and 65" TV.. ;D )

I've used it in the past. It's wet and slippery. :y

20l semi on TC is about £27 + VAT, which is cheaper than Costco last time I was in there.
