The restoration of Donald Campbells K7 Bluebird boat is still ongoing, hopefully to be completed in the not too distant future. Not only will it then reside in the museum at Coniston Water, but apparently they already have permission to run it on Coniston at speeds up to 100m.p.h.Now that should be a stunning sight to see!

I'd be a bit hesitant to take the controls to be honest, always feel a bit uncomfortable watching the footage of someones demise :-\ It's a bit like restoring Senna's wiliams and running it round a track for the fan's

Handling looked Mercedes to me. Thinking their Le Mans team, or perhaps the guys who penned the a class?
I think the only thing that would make Campbell turn in his grave would be the 100mph speed limit.
