IME, 90540743 fits most V6, 90492006 seems to be on some 2.5 and very early 3.0

Correct...as I found out at Al's place in the week.....thankfully he had the correct sensor for the 3.2,ermm! I now have at least five sensors p/n 90492006 which are not the correct sensor for the 3.2 and yet were sold as suitable for my cars....bit pee'd off about it, but at least I can impress the AA man when the CS goes on the 3.0,open the boot and he can choose any one he fancies ::)

He'll fit it for you, and that's when you discover it's the MAF that's failed ;D
-
Not a problem Nick, got a fair selection of MAF's...I'll throw 2 or 3 of those in to the boot as well, just can't have too many of anything :) ;) Klepto....who me???
-
you need a set of drop links to add to that lot......eh terbert?????????
-
Not a problem on that score either....although Al did use one of the four pairs that I do have back in the week, still got three sets left,so I had better get some more in ::) just in case there's a world shortage of Omega droplinks coming :P

EPC seems to always suggest 90492006. Its wrong. Which is why using the filter on EPC is dangerous.

Thought I was being a bit anal by buying up genuine VX CS and hoarding them...DURR! Now I've got to start all over again with the correct numbered part for the 3.2's, life's a bitch when you get it wrong :'( ::)
-
Got to this a bit late, and as you Can guess just went to check my nice new GM genuine C/S that's in the bag, and its 90492006, so in a word it's no good for the 3.2, best go and buy the correct one.
-
Also, 90492006 is metal cased, which allegedly is the better one :-\., but is not good for a 3.2 then.
