Considering investing in one soon but not sure about picking up wifi when i'm parked up in the truck. Been told even in a wifi area many connections are blocked. My lodger's got a lappy that runs through my home pc connection via a re router & he's blocked that to outsiders so what's my chances of getting online up around the country @ night without subscribing to a plug in thingy?

if you're casually sat in your truck and you find yourself able to surf on a wifi signal, its illegal, even if the owner of the connection is foolish enough not to have it protected
your best bet is to find a mcdonalds, alot of them do free wifi now

Unlikely to find an unprotected wireless signal now. Most ISP's supply routers which are set up with an encrypted key from the word go. As Danny says find a Mcd's or coffee shops (cafe nero, starbucks etc) most of them now have wi-fi.

Alot of drivers seem to have them but might be watching stuff they've downloaded from home or dvds so not sure whether it's worth me buying one. I'm usually parked up on A roads or Ind. Ests. I've seen plug in things for £30 a month but i do'nt spend enough nights out to warrant the cost. :-/

as stated m8 mcdonalds is about the best bet for free browsing
if u are caught using some ones wireless account it is classed as theft so keep that in mind
