Title: front f/l section
Post by: Toledodude1973 on 15 August 2015, 18:56:52: I cleaned up the headlights today and wanted to remove the small piece under the light . I removed grommet then tried to pull section out ,does it have more fixings somewhere or was i just afraid of breaking it? thanks for help

Can be a bit tight, but gently does it... Outboard end hooks into wing, no other magic involved ;)

Post by: Shackeng on 16 August 2015, 10:24:39: IIRC, if you apply gentle pressure downwards on the bumper as you ease it out it releases the pressure between Bumper and underside of lamp. :y

On standard bumpers, they tend to fall onto the floor. On Irmscher bumpers, they annoyingly get stuck in the bumper. Apparently. I wouldn't know this. Obviously. ;D

No need to refit it :y Obviously if I have removed it from someone elses car, then it goes back... mine are lacking, which makes removing the headlights a doddle ::)
