2.2 DTi = no

No suitable box? Not sure. But auto with 2.5 would not last big miles. Needed stronger box from 3.0/3.2's

True, but the 2.2dti almost matches the 3.2 for torque... Which would tie an AR25 in knots given half a chance ;)

Also, the power delivery of the 2.2 might not be well suited to an autobox :-\
