Which ones will I need for a 2003 53 plate 2.6,all German are the suppliers but do I need the two per bank or the one large gasket that does the whole bank?
2 gaskets or 4 for the car

oh,i know all about the genuine arguement, but the car is an unknown quantity, been a project and when i bought it was told head gasket blown, have changed the oil cooler as i think this was the problem but the car needs loads doing apart from gaskets so just want to fit some whilst it is still stripped down.

Do it once, do it properly mate, you will be replacing again soon and its more involved when the motor is fully built up.
But it is your money so go with what you feel is good for you.

Just trying these as a previous member Dbug had used them with some success, just want to know what the correct style of gasket is.
-
If they are cheap enough and the car is a project that still has a lot to be proven / repaired (in other words it could conceivably be broken for spares if any major repairs are required) and given that Dbug seems to have had some success with them over a period of time (I don't believe he has done a particularly large mileage in that car) then I think they would be the next best thing to fitting Genuine GM personally.
