The Bullet broke down, twice, on the way to work.
It just cut out, at idle. Started fine the first time, second time it wouldn't start until I'd had a rummage.
Now I think I've diagnosed it, any guesses?

Lpg related... Dodgy wiring?
-
Doesn't appear to be lpg related.

No petrol !!!
LOL. Miraculously, I've yet to run out of petrol in an Omega yet.
And the petrol in the car is relatively fresh (ie, this year).

Sensor. A la crank.

Is there a clue in a previous statement....
He stated 'After I had a rummage'...which sounds like something not connected ???

3 highly skilled Unix technicians working in a paperless office took about 90 mins to find a poxy paperclip ;D

MAF reading 119kg/hr at idle. The "rummage" to get it going was to unplug the MAF.
Fortunately, 2.5/3.0 MAFs are so reliable, a used one is fine :)

Back in January When i bought this red 3.2. I Chucked up my live data and it was MAF dead.. I ran along to nigel and grabbed two off him (used) same part number.. Put first one in and ran it for a week All ok..So i then swapped to the other and all ok. Had 8 months on a £15 MAF and got a spare when needed.. So why not say to members wanting a new MAF..You can try getting a Known used one and give that a try. :-\ I say that owing to hearing on here that they dont come cheap :y

I would say a used, known good for 2.5/3.0 - in fact that's what I'm doing for my broken "indestructible 3.0l MAF" ;D - but I could never recommend paying anything for a 2nd hand DBW V6 MAF. But people are free to do as they wish :)
