Hi guys, I'm currently placing a 3.2 enginw in to a 3.0 Elite, is there anything i need to change for this 3.2 engine to run right on a 3.0 ecu?
EG
Cams?
Cam sensors
Crank sensor
Manifolds
Or is it a drop in and fire up? I'm guessing not...
Thanks

Simply fit the loom, sensors and throttle body/inlet gubbins and it sbould run fine :y

What gearbox?

The secondary airpump fuse needs taking out, and need to use 3.0L plenum, for icv, and egr.
The egr valve will need a blanking plate fitting on the bottom. And cut 3-5mm off the top of the downpipes, as the sleeve is to long, were it goes into the 3.2 manifolds.

Great info!! Thanks, witch fuse and where is that?
AR35 box, but will it really add anymire horse power with 3.0 ecu?
Thanks

Not necessarily, but it does give the option of chipping it, which will :y

Still be about 200ish hp, modified ecu(chipped) gives a bit more, flow the throttle bodies, match the plenums,to the plates, and DONT fit a stainless exhaust, unless its,a jetex, or direct copy, no Y pipe basically, will all add a bit. :)
And oil n filter for the gearbox, if feeling flush pair of new lamdas, and coolent temp sensor
