Title: Anyone watch the four parter on Bombay railway?
Post by: Varche on 27 August 2015, 22:25:28
Apart from the irritating presentation style for people with short attention spans, I have found this series most excellent. Informative, eye opener and so on.

Some of the statistics for each day were mind blowing.

Anyone else watch it?

Simple question for our railway buffs. Why don't we have longer trains in the UK to provide extra capacity or run trains closer to each other? Please don't say the platforms aren't long enough or Can't afford more trains.

I think they do. On some busy commuter lines in the rush hour they can be up to 12 carriages.
