Ooooo, where's the credit card? :D
-
Its going to need a little TLC that one :o
-
Should keep someone busy for a while, nice project though.
-
The XJ coupe was-to me anyway-always a nice looking motor, throw in the Avengers/Steed connection and you're on a sure fire winner.Restoration costs will only be same for that one as it would for any other coupe, but end result potentially worth more than an "ordinary" coupe.

I'm sure EMD will take it off their hands for 99p. :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D

One troublesome pussy not enough for you, then? :o
-
Mean looking pussy - sensibly priced around the £10K mark given its condition. Had a go in one of Ralph Broads Group2 Jag Euro racers late 70s - quite a well sorted motor for its size.

I've endured more than my share of 'troublesome pussy'...... :-\

even back then i thought that was the Fugliest looking Jag i ever laid eyes on….. and was totally out of character for steed…… they should let the thing finish rotting in Peace.

If I could buy any 'Avengers car' it would be Tara Kings AC 428.
........and the delectable Tara was even more sexy than Emma in my opinion. :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Ahhhhh a man of taste you are sir…… :D :y
-
(although there are sadly very few photos of her with long hair in avengers days…… i wasn't a fan of all the crazy fashionable short hair dos… ) ….. that AC though…… Phwoooar

With a 7 litre V8 I think the AC was too potent for a mere girlie.
If memory serves in latter episodes Tara drove a Lotus Europa.

Its a broadspeed jag, 99% of the parts are available from jag, if it was being sold at Bonham's or one of the other, run up merchants, it might make £10k, if they bother to wash it,
Good clean jags make about 5-8k.
The only worrying part is the "heritage certificate" best way to,check provenance is with jag heritage in Coventry, :)

.. and the fact that it might be held together solely by the wiring loom at this age. ;)

Must admit that it'd really come down to a choice of Steeds Bentley or Royce given the option, and it could be either with or without nubile young female.Speaking of which did not a certain Miss Blackman play Steeds sidekick first?Or am I thinking of another programme?
-
Diana Rigg first weren't it,the lovely Joanna Lumley to finish off but wasn't there another??.
-
Honor Blackman was the first Avengers girl. :y
She played Cathy Gale.
