Title: autel al319
Post by: pauls on 03 September 2015, 20:09:39
I have one of the above and iam happy to plug it in and read and delete codes. I want to have a go at reading live data but iam not sure how to. I take it I plug it in then start the engine and follow the menus(can I cause any issues if I go into the wrong thing). Also could somebody give me the abbreviations for fuel trims and also will it show me the position of the throttle.

Autel are quite straightforward from memory, you'll be looking for live data in engine management, short term and long term fuel trims should be shown as they are .

Have a play with it. I don't think it has any functions that could be dangerous to the health of the car.

It'll be fine. Live data wise, you are looking for STFT and LTFT :y

And they will exist for each bank.

STFT isn't really anything to get concerned over, LTFT is the one.
