As above... Guessing the top end will be higher, acceleration a touch slower and fuel economy slightly improved...
Anything else to consider :-\

I doubt top speed is rev limited, so that will be slower too. It's already geared too high, in my opinion. I think it wouldn't be an improvement... ;)

How do you find the 3.2 auto without an LSD?

Not a problem. It doesn't ever really break traction unless provoked, as the gearing is quite high.

Ok, so only really worth doing in order to keep the status quo when fittng the manual box as well...

When provoked, tc comes in and remind you stop being a boyo.
With lsd and tc off, its yeee-ha, catch it, then remember, your not in a supermarket car park, and it can bite you. :o

Yes, of course, if you want to play, it's much easier to get the back end out with an LSD, but, for normal driving, it would probably only come into play the odd time you boot it out of a T junction and the inside wheel loses traction.

As you have an lsd, then fit it, otherwise sell it,

On a very long Motorway run you may see an improvement in MPG, I reckon for normal day to day driving (40 - 60 mph) mpg will actually be worse as the final lock up on the box wont kick in as quick as it would with a 3.9.
Driving a 3.0/3.2 Auto with LSD fitted can be a bit challenging with the TC off and your Brain in self destruct mode, a lot easier to do it all with a Manual version.
