Evening all. Got back tonight and noticed what I thought was a hissing noise coming from my rear wheel. I thought I had a puncture but it now seems to be happening after the pump for the shocks has come on. Does it sound like I have a leak?
Dan :)

check the hose has not just jumped off the nozzle :-\

Where about is the pump located?

under the front off side wing/bumper, but there's miles of thin plastic pipework in between it & the rear shockers. When mine did the same, it was the bellows of the shocker that had perished ...... two new shockers required

Thanks Andy. The hissing only happens for a few seconds and sounds like its by the o/s rear wheel.

where the rear shocker is ........ ::) ;) Does jacking the car on the body ie extending the shocker make a difference to the sound/leak?

Right had the rear jacked up today, ignition on, pump kicks in and I get the hissing noise around the section of plastic pipework by the fuel filter. I can't identify the exact point of the Leak though :-\

Squirt soapy water on it.

I'll try that. :)

Is it worth removing the fuse to the pump for the time being as I think the pump is running constant?

A good idea, though your car will sit low. If it's the plastic pipes, I found some in my garage the other day ..... I wanted one for my car & got the set from RobG. They're no use to me .......... I wonder where I put them ???

If you do come across them Andy and have no need I can send you something for them.
