When I'm on a website, like OOF, I  can swipe from the right hand side of the screen to show contacts, photos, mail etc. Handy for, say, looking at an email while typing on a blog  :-\
Dismiss it by tapping the main screen.
It will be useful for some, not me.

You took the initial release? Oh dear  ;D

Always best to wait few weeks until after the release ;)

Been using it off and on past few months, picture in picture looks useful on larger iPads.

Seems fine on the iPhone also, Not so keen on the way you close open applications apart from that  :y

Yeah, different for the sake of it.

Yeah, different for the sake of it.

I like what they did with Siri... For example you can now with the 6 Plus anyway just say "Hey, Siri" and ask it someting stupit etc.. Without holding the home button, BUT Only while it's plugged in, If you want the feature wireless without having the device connected to power you need to buy the latest devices  ;D

Yeah, tried that. The feature I think would be most useful on a pad is the ability to check messages/contacts/maps etc while, say, writing an email. The picture in picture is good as well. FaceTime someone from the sidebar and then drag it to the right and you can work on your email while talking to them.

That's been a feature for a while - it wasn't in this last update.

All seems good on my iPhone 6 so far

I am on my own all day, just me and the dog. Siri and me have had some very surreal conversations.  ;D

Instructions sent out at work NOT to upgrade any of our phones due a security issue with the new release  :y

According to everything I've read, iOS 9 fixes most of the security issues Lund in iOS 8, specifically the AirDrop vulnerability.

According to the email, both Vodafone and 'the mighty General' have discovered a security issue with Ios 9 when accessing mobile data and wifi services.  :y

When I put a "non genuine" siri on my old 3GS some time back, I had lots of strange conversations with it, often starting:
Me: "Call Mrs TB"
Phone: "Why?"
and then progressing into psychology...

Only an idiot would try to be the first to use a new OS major version day to day.  Says TheBoy laying in the bath with his Win10 laptop ;D

My iPhone 5 is staying at IOS8.4.1 for now (and might permanently, as I really could do with a new phone, as this one is badly battlescarred :()
