Title: Local motor factors, can't best them...
Post by: GastronomicKleptomaniac on 17 September 2015, 22:32:01
Having got everything to make new brake pipes, I thought I was all set. Until I came to fit the female fitting to connect to the car... Rang the local factors who said they'd do the flares for me.

Now Ive bought plenty there, but I'm certainly not a regular face, so I was chuffed when he refused to take any payment. I shall definitely be buying more widgets from them in future...

Would you get that service in Halfords? Most likely not. I hope not to encourage all manner of freeloaders, but any Teesside members would do well to use LT Motors for their bits and bobs. :y

Good result . All too often shops are out to rip you off ,very rarely go into half/fords but their prices are extortionate compared to local factors   :(

Her we have a Halfords an A.E.Cook and a Eurocarparts all less than 2miles from my bungalow or at more than twice that distance there is a long established local motor factors called FMS.Whilst there is nothing intrinsically wrong with any of the first three I do by preference use the last named.Friendly personal service by people who actually know what they're talking about :y
