...and i have an old sony thingy that lets me phone the wife to tell her i am on time / running late etc

apparently it does other things - like ( allegedly) theres this thing on it what allows you to type in letters to form words....and then it sends what you ave typed to another person....like a short message service ( lets call it sms) doubt it will catch on.

I mean what next t`internet on your mobile ? :-/

I've got a five year old Nokia 6310 that came with my omega. No polyphonic ringtones, no music, no picture messaging. Great :y

Best model they ever made. In fact, after Nokia stopped making them around 2004 the demand was so high that they were being flogged on eBay for £100 - secondhand... yep, had I not lost mine (after having it for 3 years) I would have still had it now....

I've been looking for a mobile that has a proper dial rather than these modern, fangled press button keypads...

Our company have just issued us with new O2 xda Mini S PC phones. Bloody nightmare - a manual thats like War and Peace and so complicated to use you need a university degree and is about the size of a house brick (well alright, not that big but larger than most mobiles).......or am I just getting too old for this technology?  :-[ :-[
