Worth a look for some, the spanner set is actually OK quality and ideal as a second set or as the main set for the light DIY user (I have some which have taken a real hammering and still good):

Would the 2.5 HP air-compressor have much kick, if using it with impact wrench kit?
Guessing not at those prices :-\

:y
If you've got a decent set of ratchet spanners, as I have, but want a set you can use a hammer on when necessity strikes, these would seem perfect :)

Hammer a ratchet spanner? :o
Suely you have a cheapo spanner set that you can clobber?

Might struggle for repetition but, the kick is more dependent on the wrench than the compressor.

Hmmm electric chainsaw.. ::)

Indeed. :) Not needed to use 'percussive persuasion' yet, but upon such time as I do, I'll want a set that can be abused.

What you need that for ::)

Personally, I would want a bigger tank and 14 bar pressure, on a compressor. However, that's where the price jumps, but I suspect for small air jobs, it would suffice. I have a number of the Workzone tools from Aldi, and I have to say, they work well for me, and I have no complaints. Even my impact wrench seems ok :y

yes, not many 200psi compressors about for under a grand, 145psi being the more standard (10 bar)
Bigger tank is not an issue, if that's what you really want then adding an old empty propane cylinder in with the system works well (most cylinder have a direct non regulate connection of the tank dome which allows this to be done with ease)

At the prices you're looking at, get a decent battery one, you'll be far happier.
