Hi to all,
What is the best fit and size for a tire-wheels combination for a V6?
for 17s
for 18s
and any adjustments on toe and camber if stock wheels are changed?
**considering that the suspension is stock
Thanks in advance

Assuming Omega 7J 17" ET33 wheels, then you have but one choice... 235/45/17s
Assuming Irmscher 8J 18"s ET30/33, then you have two legitimate choices... 235/40/18s or 245/40/18s (these are the same rolling radius as factory 16"s running 225/55/16 tyres, so speedo remains consistent).
If you're fitting Irmscher 9J 18"s at the rear then it's 265/35/18s :y

Super thank you sir!

I think you'll find the standard 17 inch rim width is 7.5j.
I run 245/45/17 which is a near identical comprison to 225/55/16, with a tweek to the electronic speedo and abs pulse. Thats the case for the preface and miniface anyway, whereby the elite had 16's.

Cor a tyre and geometry thread, this could go on longer than webbys 0-60 thread.
Right
I think auto-grip winter tyres are doggie dangling bits ;D

;D ;D
To be fair to Vagisil Chris, when it comes down to tyres and suspension, he has helped a lot of lads out on here and has probably forgotten more about this stuff then most members know :)
Even if he is a irritating t@at sometimes :D :D :D

It will if we say my tyres are better than yours, ;D
