Title: WIM Franchise or recommended geo, Gloucester?
Post by: GastronomicKleptomaniac on 04 October 2015, 15:13:59
No, I haven't had a bump on the head and turned into Fred West, I'm asking for a friend.

He has a Z4 Coupe 3.0si (ie not the M... yet). Recent tyre disasters have shown his geometry to be well off - any recommendations of somewhere to fit a pair of tyres, and set it up properly?

As he's also Britains Busiest Man, it could do with being as close to Ross or Gloucester as possible. :D

(as an aside, I did spit my tea out when he told me the price of the tyres for it...)

Well pleased with Imperial Tyres, Swindon, who set up both mine using WIM settings. :y

There's a Protyre branch in Gloucester as well.  I've used their Exeter branch and I seem to remember that Gixer recommended them, so they must be OK!  :y
