Hi all.
I'm thinking about selling my plastic shed to make some extra space in my garden. It's really big (11ft by 8ft) and I just tend to hoard stuff in it.
Does anyone have any experience of dismantling this type of shed? Is it difficult?
I've dismantled a wooden shed before but wouldn't have a clue where to start on a plastic one.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks. :y

If its been up a few years id be concerned with it going a little brittle and snapping as you try and take it down

Thanks I'll have a good look at it. It doesn't seem that old actually.

Last one I built had sort of toothed sections and slotted together - friction fit rather than any fastenings. Id gently lever between panels and see what happens.

Get a man to look at it, women have no idea how such things work. When he's finished the job, bonk him and make him a nice bacon buttie. HTH.

perhaps Kate hasent got a big hammer to bonk him with after he had done it.. ;D ;D

Bonk the man in the shed and if you're vigorous enough it might dissemble itself. Make him a nice bacon sarnie! :y

There's a plastic shed in my garden (only a little one) that slots together in much the same way - there are plastic tabs that pop out into retaining holes.. it can be dismantled by pressing those in gently and levering the panels apart.
It's been in the garden(s) for 15+ years and still comes apart and goes back together like the day it was bought (and has done several times over the years).

What jokes? I see no jokes. Humour must be in short supply in NE Lincs, not hard to see why really ;D

Thanks very much, I'm going to try and dismantle it. :y
