Title: Wind up windows
Post by: Vamps on 14 July 2008, 21:49:43
Got a courtesy car from the garage today, my Citroen in for 12500 mile service. They gave me a little Citroën  C1, quite a nippy little car, though it had one too many pedals. I had to try and remember what you do with the spongy pedal on the left. :( :( :(

Anyway, I can not remember how long it has been since I used a car, except my old ford Prefect, with wind up windows, what a real pain on a nice sunny day. ::) ::) ::)

Yes and a very windy and wet day, when you have to slowly wind your window down then back up at a ticket barrier! :P :P

You forget how good lecci windows are only once you have lost them! ;D ;)

Think we are all getting spoilt by technology!
My friend came up to me in the school car park worried that she couldnt lock her car as the battery had gone in her key. She looked quite gobsmacked when i suggested that she put the key in the lock to lock the car!! ;D ;D ;D

That could only be a male friend, after all a female would have walked to school to collect her children. ;D ;D ;D
