As wine is so expensive I thought I would share my experiences of home wine making.
All you need is a couple of food grade buckets, a spoon, a grommet a siphon tube and an air lock.
You can make thirty bottles of excellent quality wine in seven (yes seven (7)) days.
This is the kit I use:
You can get everything you need on eBay.
Good luck. :y

How things have changed over the last 40 years....I use to make own beer...in a bin with heater and thermostat...and a thermometer .leave until fermented then add sugar then bottle it and have around 30 brown bottles in the bottom of the wardrobe all standing there like little soldiers waiting to be consumed, unless they popped their tops because too much sugar had been added....as for the wine in gallon glass demi johns with big rubber bungs in the top that was quicker to brew so could drink that while beer was brewing......so a lot easier these days...I hope it all works out well for you Kate....and enjoy... ;D ;D

For white wine it's even easier.
Google 'Worzels Orange Wine' and you'll see what I mean. Dirty cheap and it's fairly paletable as well :y although I will keep the expensive wine for the fois gras canapes ;D

The kit only costs £31 including delivery.
£1.03 for a bottle of wine. Nice. :y
