Title: *Wanted* HID Front / Rear Level Sensors
Post by: Mr.OmegaMan on 16 October 2015, 01:08:53
As title  ;)

For a FL saloon.

Ideally just need the rear one with the arm/bracket etc.. but I'm also more than happy to buy the front also as a spare.  :y

No chance of cable ties on the old ones? Worked on my MV6...

Mine appears to have just gone faulty or something not sure exactly tbh. Definitely the rear one though know that much.

Ever since changing the tyre on the passenger rear it has been playing up throwing up the range message.

Last time I had this message I bought some used sensors from a member which cured the problem till the jacking up at the garage for the new tyre, Ever since then the headlight range message pops up each time you start up then once you press ok it doesn't come back till the key is removed / put back in again.

Just hoping a replacement will cure this once again, definitely not paying new VX prices £250 something each  :o

Probably a loom fault... Check carefully for chafing/breaks as twigs and puddles take their toll on the rear loom :y

Could well be but I did check the wiring I could see and it all looks intact. I'd still like another sensor even if it turs out to be wiring could do with a spare seen as how hard they are to come by usually. Plus it would rule out a sensor problem so I know to look else where  :y

Not in an immediate rush the lights still work etc..
