Overrated and somewhat boring looking, and they are not that fast actually......

Do you reckon you could get it to run on LPG?

That's a lot of money for what I always think looks like a Ford Capri, particularly, from the back, albeit without a roof. ::) ::) ::)

The early SWB models were prone to this, the latter ones are not so bad if driven within its limits, even on the limit they can be very controllable.

True, and I have witnessed the noise clear the road ahead too. ;)
I remember having a little tustle on the way to le mans. There were a group of guysidiots who had clearly raided daddy's garage for the weekend - driving a V8 Esprit, 993 and something red and italian - can't remember what. Anyway, these guys decide to give it large up a hill somewhere along the N138 north of Le Mans.
Just as they were overtaking me the guy behind me opens up the taps on his 427 and just drives round the outside of the lot of them as if they were standing still. ;D
