Keep getting stuff on the screen of laptop about that there Windows 10.What's the verdict?worth having over Windows 7 or not?

Unistall Windows update KB3035583 and all that Windows 10 stuff goes away. If you don't know how to do that manually, there is a GUI tool to do it called IDontWantWindows10.

Once you've uninstalled KB3035583, hide the update in Update manager.
