If it's as clean as it looks, then that's a keeper ;)

Best I get mine washed and listed a bit quick, say starting bids at £1000. :y

£1310 now.
whose bidding it up, and then not going to show,
And in a weeks time we see 'relisted due to time waster'.

This is the 3rd time in 3 weeks this seller has had the car up for sale, first time round was sold for £1800, second time round it went for £1550.

Interestingly, first time round the bids where bidded up by a 2 feedback bidder from £395 to £840, and was then bidded up by 18 feedback bidder from £850 to £1599, then bidded up again by the 2 feedback bidder to £1490. Then followed by both the 2 and 18 bidders playing cat and mouse before being won by the 2 bidder for £1801.

Second time round looks like the 2 feedback bidder, bidded up from £780 to £1550 before pulling out and the item was won by a n other for £1550.

This time around looks like our 2 feedback bidder is back again as that bidder has now bidded up from £160 to £545 and is now current playing with another 2 feedback bidder and between them have gone from £545 to currently £1310 of which our 2 feedback bidder is currently the highest.

Gentlemen, I'll let you draw your own conclusions as what's going on here, but needless to say unless someone new wins this, its going be back on for sale again soon.

Second bidder dropped out... Presumably the third bidder only went to £1320 :-\

Be interesting to see what happens next...

If that's the price it sold for, then seller is legally obliged to sell it for that... Regardless of what they want for it...

Our friend the 2 feedback bidder bids were cancelled (which were the current highest bid at £1350), either by the seller or bidder, but then bidder bidded again from £550 to £1310, just below the second highest bidder, (they would have worked that one out by looking at the bid history just before cancelling), hence pushing the second highest bidder up to first place to win just before auction close. Naughty  >:(

Yep I***x (3) is now the proud owner, 1 positive feedback better off and £1330 lighter on the pocket.

I wonder if he knows he could have bought the car for £550 had he have not been shell biidded up to £1330 by our 2 bidder friend 2***9 (2).

I think a lot of this type of bidding goes on  :( At least with a classified ad you can make an offer without bidding and stand a decent chance of buying for a realistic price . Ive seen a 3.2 estate on A'trader yesterday but its mint and in rare silver hmm  :P

Agreed EMD,

this is why if I bid on something on Ebay (never done it with cars) I only bid in the last 5-10 seconds or so. Means the seller has no opportunity to bid me up and then reverse it. Also means I can't get carried away and bid again!  ::)

Yep thats what i do and often get outbid  ::) Ive seen loads of cars just lately being re-listed , but they reached a good price before . Could be non payments but you suspect its friends families bidding them up  :-\

Oh, tell me about it. Bidding on some tyres, to find they'd gone off ebay. I emailed the seller, to be told theyd sold privately.  :-X Well, if only there were a way that all interested parties could place their maximum amount of money willing to pay, and whoever has the highest figure, gets the item.... If only there were some way that could happen.... ::)
