Title: 2-3 solenoid roll pin

So I have the box aprart but can't get the security pin out.

Should it just pull out?

Ok, so took the valve body off and tapped the pin out that way. This raised a question as 2 small ball bearings seem lose - does anyone know if they should be lose at all and if so are the in the correct place in the photo.

Also is this my trust washer in the this pic? If so is it now box out time anyway?

The balls will be from specific locations in the valve block. I think they form non return valves. You'll need a service manual for the box to find out where they should go.

But.. that does look like a broken thrust washer, so the gearbox needs to come out to fix that, or it will soon be coming out for replacement, I'm afraid.
