Title: Estate towbar swap, pfl to fl

Is it as straightforward as might be hoped?

I've searched and found concerns about deeper bumpers and type approval but no definitive answers.

Physically it will bolt straight on... The only physical difference between the pre and post facelift estate is the rear bumper... the facelift one is squarer and might require a notch to fit over the bar underneath the bumper... You might however need to change the ball for a longer one... but that depends how it is attached  :y

Depends on the bar you have really :-\

Lots of pics would be helpful... the visible part, ie the ball. Plus what you can see from the ground looking under the bumper.

Thanks for the info. I'll see what I can do re pics. First thing to do is find the pics guide.
