Title: vectra sri 2.2
Post by: mick-1975 on 31 October 2015, 16:25:31
Hi all after selling the omega I brought a sri vectra 2.2 which to be fair the performance is good and fuel economy is good getting 450 miles out if a tank of petrol .
The down side is that compared to the omega the ride is hard and the seating is uncomfortable for me .
Anyway I have a issue with it when I'm driving in getting a wining noise from it even in reverse could this be the gearbox on its way out or could k put some stuff in to help quiet the noise down .
The reason I'm asking is that I'm selling the car soon as I'm getting g something different and k want to try and get most of the money j brought it for . Only had it 4 month .
 Many thanks mick

The comment made my missis laugh . Don't sound like a wheel bearing noisy and goes with the revs of the engine if u know what I mean .

Is that a easy job to do never had a front wheel drive car.
Hopefully that will cure it I got told it could be the gearbox worn .
I'll jave a look and price it up
 Many thanks .
